The date for Prince Naseem Hamed's World Boxing Organisation featherweight title defence against Mexico's World Boxing Council champion Cesar Soto has been set as 22 October. The venue should be finalised within the coming week.

Robert Norton, of Stourbridge, will defend his World Boxing Union cruiserweight title against South Africa's Sebastiaan Rothmann at the Rhydcar Sports Centre in Merthyr Tydfil on 24 September.
