Betty Wilson, a 70-year-old blind great-grandmother from Edinburgh, became the oldest person in Britain to do a bungee jump. She jumped off a 165ft crane at Washington, Tyne and Wear. She said: 'It helps being blind - you can't see how far you might fall.'
