Eighteen people were injured, two seriously, when a 25-seater mini-bus taking women from the Fairweather Green Working Men's Club, Bradford, West Yorkshire, to the Blackpool illuminations, crashed. The mini-bus was in a five-vehicle pile-up in slow-moving or standing traffic near the M61- M6 junction. One of the injured was said to be critical.
