THE CENTREPIECE of Liverpool's millennium celebrations, a vast "snow park" featuring an exhibition of winter sports, has hit a snag - it has melted.
The city's ice-rink and ski-slope had to be closed yesterday when mild weather caused both features to start melting.
The centre, in Chavasse Park, is now stuck without snow until experts can remedy the problem.
