A HOMECOMING concert by the Welsh band Catatonia turned into a mud party after storms drenched 30,000 fans.

The band, celebrating the chart success of their album Equally Cursed and Blessed, performed a sell-out concert at Margam Park, near Port Talbot, despite the torrential downpour. Lead singer Cerys Matthews, who was brought up in nearby Llanelli, appeared buoyant in the quagmire.
