Wilfred Maurice Phillips, Notary Public of the City of London 1934- 1993, died 1 October, aged 82. Master of the Scriveners' Company 1950-51. As Honorary Secretary, Society of Notaries Public of London, he was involved with the implementation in the UK of the Hague Convention, 1961.
