'Execution' arrests

Two more people were arrested by police investigating the "pre-planned execution" of Nigel Wilson, 23, who was shot dead after being chased from a house in Conisbrough, South Yorkshire. Two men and a woman were already in custody.

Prison hunger strike

Five inmates at the top-security Long Lartin prison, near Evesham, Hereford and Worcester, have begun a hunger strike in protest at what they claim are unfair conditions.
