TIME LIFE, the US publisher, has defaulted on its mortgage and is facing foreclosure on its headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia, according to the Washington Post.

The property is jointly owned by Time Life, its main tenant, and Arpad Domyan, president of the Los Angeles-based Atlantic Pacific Construction, the paper reported.
