Bromley hospitals' cardiac rehabilitation unit will be formally opened by Sir Peter Imbert, former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police on Thursday. The unit, based at Farnborough Hospital, provides a specialist service for patients recovering from heart problems and developed from the Bromley Cardiac Support Group, founded by two nurses two years ago.
