Manchester City and the Premier League have reached a settlement concerning the league's Associated Party Transaction (APT) Rules.
As part of the agreement, Manchester City has accepted that the current APT Rules are valid and binding.
This resolution concludes a legal challenge initiated by the club earlier this year regarding these rules.
A separate, significant financial case involving over 100 charges against City remains unresolved, with a verdict not anticipated until next month at the earliest.
Despite the neutral joint statement, some sources consider the allowance of a new Etihad deal a substantial victory for Manchester City.
