  • City initially took the lead through Bernardo Silva, but Al-Hilal responded with goals from Marcos Leonardo and Malcom to go ahead.
  • Erling Haaland and Phil Foden scored equalisers for Manchester City, with Foden's goal sending the match into extra time.
  • Al-Hilal regained the lead in extra time via Kalidou Koulibaly before Marcos Leonardo secured their victory with his second goal in the 112th minute.
  • The defeat means Manchester City will not progress further in the tournament, while Al-Hilal will face Fluminense in the semi-finals.
