Arsenal's title campaign has been dealt a blow with key winger Bukayo Saka expected to be sidelined for up to a month due to a left hamstring injury.
Saka sustained the injury during the Gunners' 5-0 Premier League victory against Leeds and will miss the upcoming match against Liverpool and England's World Cup qualifiers.
Captain Martin Odegaard also sustained a right shoulder injury in the same match and is likely to miss the Liverpool fixture, though his absence is not expected to be prolonged.
Both players' injuries are considered less severe than initial concerns, particularly for Saka who had a lengthy lay-off last season from a different hamstring issue.
The club is also without German forward Kai Havertz due to a knee injury, despite having bolstered its squad with new signings like Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze.
