Trump’s helicopter forced to land in airfield as he leaves UK after state visit
Trump and Melania depart for London airport after state visit
Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were forced to switch helicopters due to a minor "hydraulic issue" while returning to Stansted Airport in London.
The incident occurred on Thursday as they concluded a two-day state visit to the UK, travelling from Chequers.
Pilots landed Marine One at a local airfield "out of an abundance of caution" after detecting the problem.
The couple safely transferred to a backup support helicopter to continue their journey to the airport.
