Trump appears to doze off during energy and AI summit
Trump appears to fall asleep during energy and innovation event
Donald Trump appeared to fall asleep during an energy and innovation event in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, 15 July.
The US president was observed nodding forward with closed eyes for nearly 20 seconds while seated with big oil and technology bosses.
At the summit, Trump announced investments totalling $90bn for AI and energy in the state.
These investments, which RepublicanPennsylvania senator Dave McCormick said would boost local economies, align with the Trump administration's plans to expand artificial intelligence in the US.
