  • Speaking to reporters after a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Trump expressed his unhappiness with Putin, citing the thousands of Russian and Ukrainian soldiers dying.
  • Trump stated that Putin's pleasantries are ultimately "meaningless".
  • The US president is also "very strongly" considering backing a Senate bill that would impose harsh sanctions on Moscow over the conflict.
