What will happen in Trump’s hush money court appeal?

Donald Trump's attorneys are appealing his New York conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records, arguing the case should be moved to federal jurisdiction.
Trump was convicted last May for his role in a scheme to silence an adult film star, with reimbursements falsely recorded as "legal expenses."
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg opposes the move, while Trump's attorneys claim the "unprecedented prosecution" belongs in federal court, where the Justice Department could dismiss it.
Trump's legal team argues that evidence used at trial should have been withheld under the Supreme Court’s “immunity” decision, though these arguments have been rejected by multiple courts.
In addition to this appeal, Trump is also contesting an $83 million verdict in a defamation case and a civil fraud judgment where he owes New York State over half a billion dollars.
