Man filmed releasing rats on pavement outside Sheffield Grand Mosque
- CCTV footage shows Edmund Fowler, 66, releasing rats outside Sheffield Grand Mosque on Grimesthorpe Road.
- Fowler repeated this act on three further occasions between May and June, as part of a series of racially motivated hate crimes.
- He pleaded guilty to four counts of racially aggravated harassment at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
- On 16 July, Fowler was sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, and banned from approaching any mosque for 18 months.
