A terrorist attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester resulted in two deaths and four injuries on Thursday, coinciding with Yom Kippur.
The assailant rammed a car into a group of people before attacking them with a knife; police subsequently killed the suspected attacker at the scene.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the incident, stating the attacker targeted 'Jews because they are Jews' and stressed the need to defeat rising antisemitism.
Laura Loomer, an ally of Donald Trump, appeared to criticise Starmer on social media, referencing an unspecified warning from Donald Trump.
King Charles expressed his shock and sadness, while Rabbi Jonathan Romain described the attack as 'every Jewish person's worst nightmare' given the sacred timing.
