Hotel lobby stores are now using dynamic pricing too

Las Vegas is experiencing a decline in tourist numbers, partly attributed to rising costs and add-on fees.
Dynamic pricing in hotel lobby stores, including Caesars Palace and MGM Grand, is a significant concern, with prices fluctuating and only revealed at the till.
Visitors have reported paying significantly different prices for the same items on consecutive days, such as a Snickers and Gatorade costing $10 and then $14.
Travel expert Michael Trager criticises this practice, arguing that, unlike online bookings, physical stores should display clear prices for consumers.
Other factors contributing to the tourism downturn include a 'Trump slump' impacting international travel due to high-profile deportation cases, alongside general high costs and various fees.
