Air show rehearsal ends in horror as fighter jet crash kills pilot

  • A Polish Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed during a rehearsal for an air show in Radom, central Poland.
  • The pilot of the F-16 was killed in the accident.
  • The General Command of the Armed Forces confirmed there were no injuries to bystanders.
  • Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz paid tribute to the pilot, describing him as an officer who served his country with dedication and courage.
  • The air show planned for the weekend in Radom was subsequently cancelled.
