British woman who vanished a month ago on Greek holiday found dead, husband says
A British woman, Michele Ann Bourda, 59, has been found dead in Greece over a month after she vanished from a beach.
Ms Bourda disappeared from Ofrynio beach in Kavala, northern Greece, while her husband, Chris Bourda, was asleep.
Her body was discovered on the privately owned island of Fidonisi, approximately 40km from where she was last seen.
Mr Bourda criticised Greek authorities for their delayed search efforts, claiming they did not begin searching soon enough and dismissed their suggestion that his wife had left with an unknown man.
He also highlighted his wife's history of severe depression and anxiety, advocating for improved mental health services in Britain.
