Axel Rudakubana, the Southport triple killer serving a 52-year sentence, is under investigation for allegedly attacking a Prison officer at HMP Belmarsh.
Rudakubana allegedly poured boiling water from a heated kettle onto the officer.
The officer was briefly hospitalized as a precaution but is expected to return to work next week.
