Liposuction is the most popular plastic surgery in US, report says
- The American Society of Plastic Surgeons' 2024 report identified liposuction as the most popular cosmetic surgery nationwide.
- Liposuction procedures were most prevalent in the South Region of the US, with 122,724 operations recorded.
- Breast augmentation proved most popular in the Mountain and Pacific region, making up 37 percent of procedures performed by ASPS member surgeons.
- Over 79,058 facelifts were carried out by ASPS member surgeons across the US, with high numbers in the East South Central/West South Central and Mountain/Pacific regions.
- Eyelid surgery also remained a popular cosmetic procedure, particularly in the Mountain and Pacific, and East South Central/West South Central regions.
