Pop Mart unveils mini Labubus and long-fur version of popular toy
New Labubu range to be released within days
- China's Pop Mart is set to release new versions of its popular Labubu plush toys this month, including a mini version and a new long-fur doll.
- The Labubu character, created by artist Kasing Lung, gained widespread popularity after Pop Mart began selling key-ring plush toys in 2023.
- The new mini Labubu vinyl plush pendants will retail for $22.99 each, while blind boxes will be priced at $18.99 a piece.
- A new long-fur Rock the Universe vinyl plush doll, featuring a unique dyeing technique, will also be available for $114.99.
- Labubu has been a major financial success for Pop Mart, contributing to a doubling of revenue in 2024 and a nearly 400 per cent increase in profit for the first half of the year.
