  • An all-star tribute band is set to honour rock icon Ozzy Osbourne at this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards.
  • British singer Yungblud will perform a medley of Osbourne’s greatest hits, joined by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Nuno Bettencourt.
  • The VMA ceremony will take place on Sunday, 7 September, at New York’s UBS Arena, broadcast live on CBS, MTV, and Paramount+.
  • Lady Gaga leads this year’s nominations with 12, closely followed by Bruno Mars with 11 and Kendrick Lamar with 10.
  • Osbourne, who passed away in July at the age of 76, was a significant influence on Yungblud, who previously performed at a tribute event in Birmingham.
