MrBeast addresses ‘dangerous’ video that left internet fuming

Mr Beast gives $10,000 to first person who agrees to fly and meet him
  • MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, faced criticism for his latest YouTube video, “Would You Risk Dying For $500,000?”, which features a man in elaborate “death traps”.
  • A viral clip from the video depicted a man tied to a chair inside a burning building, leading many viewers to brand the stunt as “dystopian” and “dangerous”.
  • Mr Donaldson responded to the backlash, stating that he takes safety “seriously” and that the challenges were extensively tested by professionals.
  • He clarified that the burning building segment included ventilation for smoke, a kill switch to cut off fires, and that the participant was a professional stuntman.
  • MrBeast further explained that multiple stuntmen tested the challenges, and emergency teams, including an ambulance and fire engine, were on set, along with a pyro team controlling the fires.
