Singer Jessie J has revealed she was hospitalised with an infection six weeks after undergoing surgery for breast cancer.
She had previously revealed an early-stage cancer diagnosis in April, leading to a mastectomy and breast reconstruction.
Initial concerns about a blood clot on the lung were disproven, with tests revealing an infection and fluid on her lungs.
The "Bang Bang" singer, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, discharged herself from hospital despite still feeling unwell and experiencing difficulty breathing.
She described the physical recovery as challenging and the mental impact as significant.
