Arnold Schwarzenegger gives his view on the US: ‘It doesn’t matter who is president’
Arnold Schwarzenegger tells world 'stop whining' over Donald Trump
Arnold Schwarzenegger says it is possibly "easier" to achieve success in the US and Hollywood compared to when he first moved there in 1968.
The 77-year-old actor and former Governor of California, stated that America remains the "land of opportunity" regardless of who is president, citing his own experiences and the success of others.
Speaking to the BBC, Schwarzenegger responded to a question about the American dream by saying he could still go to America as a 20-year-old and "make it in exactly the same way. Maybe even easier."
He added: “America is the land of opportunity. No matter what. It doesn’t matter who is president.”
He shared a story about a Nigerian trainer in Los Angeles earning $100 an hour and driving a Bentley, emphasising that opportunities exist for those willing to work hard.
