Sir: What Robbie Fowler said was abusive not towards Graeme Le Saux, but towards gay people such as myself (Review, 4 March). For this he should have been reprimanded. Le Saux colluded in the homophobia by taking it as an insult. I would not be insulted by the "accusation" that I was heterosexual!
