This week's highlights on Carlton Food Network:

Antony's Scotland (today 12.30pm) Leading chef, Antony Worrall Thompson embarks on a gastronomic tour of Scotland, meeting locals and finding out about traditional dishes. After making venison sausages, he visits Knokomie Hotel to cook loin of venison and skirlie.

Food for Thought (Mon 1pm) Sarah Greene hosts the show in which a panel of experts answer questions from a studio audience about all aspects of food. Today's show is devoted to garlic.

A Taste of Africa (Wed 4pm) Dorinda Hafner continues her odyssey through the countryside and cuisine of Africa. In Morocco, a Berber tent becomes a kitchen for preparing tagine of lamb and prunes, mint tea is made in the traditional way and there's a visit to the fabulous market of Djemaa el Fna in the heart of Marrakesh.
